I have been trying to stay away from traditional store-bought dressing. Firstly, I don't 'love' the taste of the traditional dressings on salads. But secondly and most importantly, I'm not a fan of soybean oils and other preservatives found in the common store-bought dressings. Soy contains isoflavones and is highly sprayed through the growing process. Glyphosates! To me, salad is supposed to be healthy, and I don't want to coat it with toxins.
As most of you know I grow my own micro greens, and I wanted something fresh to dress them up with! So I created this quick dressing that brings out the salad itself and it's made with everyday ingredients!
My favorite greens to use for a salad are a cup or so of spicy salad mix micro greens. Then I top my salad with feta and avocados if I have them.
